Spanish midfielder Oriol Romeu has returned to first-team training with Valencia.
The 22-year-old, who is currently on loan at the Mestalla from Chelsea, picked up a knee injury during a training session at the start of February.
A subsequent scan revealed that the midfielder needed surgery to correct the issue, with reports suggesting that the former Barcelona youngster could miss the remainder of the season.
However, Romeu was present alongside his teammates for the session on Monday morning.
It is believed that Valencia are exploring the possibility of turning Romeu's loan into a permanent transfer at the end of the current season.
