Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly keen to speak with Feyenoord boss Arne Slot over their managerial vacancy.

The North Londoners are on the hunt for a new permanent head coach after parting company with Antonio Conte last month.

Spurs currently have assistant coach Cristian Stellini in interim charge of the first team until the end of the season as they search for a long-term successor to Conte.

A host of managers both in and out of work have been linked with the managerial vacancy, including 44-year-old Slot, who is understood to have been identified as a potential target by Tottenham's hierarchy.

According to 90min, Spurs are hoping to hold talks with Slot, who is on the verge of leading Feyenoord to the Eredivisie title this season.

Slot has enhanced his reputation over the last two seasons with Feyenoord, following up last year's Europa Conference League final outing and third-placed finish in the Eredivisie with a quarter-final exit in this season's Europa League and a title charge in the Dutch top flight.

Feyenoord have won 21, drawn seven and lost just one of their 29 league matches this term, with Slot's men currently sitting eight points clear at the top of the Eredivisie table with only five games remaining.

The Bergentheim-born coach, who has also been linked with West Ham United and Crystal Palace, is not the only manager said to be on Tottenham's radar, as a recent report claims that Reims boss Will Still has been sounded out by the Premier League club.

Spurs are also said to be planning to hold talks with former Barcelona boss Luis Enrique, who has been out of work since leaving his role in charge of the Spanish national team at the end of the 2022 World Cup.

It remains to be seen whether Enrique would be interested in taking the reins at Tottenham, but their chances of luring him to North London have seemingly been handed a boost as the 52-year-old is allegedly unlikely to take charge of rivals Chelsea.

Brendan Rodgers, who was relieved of his duties by Leicester City earlier this month, has also been linked with the Spurs vacancy and is believed to be very keen to replace Conte in the dugout.

A potential swoop for Burnley head coach Vincent Kompany has also been mooted, but the former Manchester City defender is understood to have no interest in the Tottenham job and recently played down speculation over a summer move to the Lilywhites.

Spurs remain in the race for Champions League qualification as they currently sit fifth in the Premier League table, three points behind fourth-placed Newcastle United who have a game in hand. body check tags ::
