Chelsea captain John Terry has insisted that teammate Eden Hazard is as good as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi and believes that the Belgian winger is only going to get better.
The 24-year-old scored in his side's 2-1 win over Stoke City on Saturday evening to help move the Blues seven points clear at the top of the Premier League table.
Consequently, the former England captain now compares Hazard to the world's best players, and says that he can only get improve.
"He has been excellent - he has been our best player by a long way this year," Terry told Sky Sports News.
"In those games, as well, where you're looking for a little bit of something extra - a bit of magic from someone - he's the one who steps up and manages to create something...he's up there with the Messi's and Ronaldo's and can still get better and better."
Charlie Adam equalised for Stoke from inside his own half, but Loic Remy scored the winner to seal the three points for Chelsea.
