Chelsea interim manager Guus Hiddink has said that captain John Terry will travel with the squad for their Premier League fixture away at Bournemouth.
Terry remains sidelined with the hamstring and Achilles injuries that have kept him out of action since the middle of March, but Hiddink has suggested that the defender was keen to play his part in the dressing room.
The Dutchman told reporters: "I like people to be with the team. John is very committed. He was very annoyed about his injury and desperately wants to be with the team."
Hiddink also revealed at his pre-match press conference that he hoped to have the 35-year-old available for the following fixture with Tottenham Hotspur, which takes place on May 2.
With his contract at Stamford Bridge expiring at the end of the season, Terry will hope to return to the starting lineup during the closing weeks of the campaign in an attempt to impress new boss Antonio Conte.
