Tony Cascarino has claimed that former club Chelsea will put their defeat to Newcastle United behind them and still win the Premier League this season.
The league leaders' 14-game unbeaten run came to an end at St James' Park on Saturday as two goals from Papiss Cisse helped the Magpies to a narrow 2-1 win.
The Blues' afternoon was made worse by the news that second-placed Manchester City beat Everton 1-0 to move within three points of Jose Mourinho's side in the table.
"I think they'll do it," ex-Chelsea striker Cascarino told talkSport. "I think they've got a bit more than [Manchester] City. If you get City's best XI, they can match anybody – there's no doubt about that.
"Chelsea are a better organised team though. Yesterday was a bad result, but I think they'll bounce back and be fine."
Last month, bookmakers Paddy Power paid out on Mourinho's men winning the title this season.
