Chelsea striker Fernando Torres believes that the Blues have improved under the leadership of interim manager Rafael Benitez.
The Spaniard took the temporary position following the dismissal of Roberto Di Matteo last month but the club's supporters were not quick to accept the former Liverpool boss.
Despite the negative reaction from the fans, Torres believes that the team are benefiting from Benitez's guidance.
"We're getting better as a unit," the Daily Star quotes Torres as saying. "This season we have a team of better quality players. Since Rafa came as coach it is coming together and we are showing more determination."
Benitez has already led the club to a final this season after his side defeated Monterrey 3-1 in the Club World Cup semi-final yesterday.
