Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas has denied suggestions that Blues owner Roman Abramovich has attended team meetings this season.
Villas-Boas also claimed that his side are still in with a chance of finishing fourth this season, despite their recent poor form.
"The owner hasn't been in, we spoke about that, he has his own private agenda. I think in the end there's always positives to take out from [the defeat to Everton]. This is a project everyone wants to be involved in," Villas-Boas told reporters.
When questioned on whether his side can finish in the top four, he said: "As things are from fourth to seventh, the position in the league will change on a weekly basis ... that is the reality of the football club."
