Manchester City have recorded their second straight victory over Chelsea in the United States.
The beaten FA Cup finalists triumphed 5-3 in New York, despite a brace from Ramires giving the Blues hope in the second half.
Gareth Barry put Brian Kidd's side ahead early on, before Samir Nasri doubled their advantage with an excellent finish.
City led 2-0 at the break, but Ramires swooped straight after the restart by rounding Richard Wright after being found by David Luiz.
James Milner restored the two-goal cushion with a sweet right-footed strike across Petr Cech, but Ramires struck once again to get his team back into the game.
Nasri grabbed his second of the game in the 73rd minute, but Juan Mata's excellent free-kick on the edge of the box crept underneath the bar to make it 4-3.
However, Edin Dzeko replied two minutes later to wrap up victory for the Citizens.
