Oscar scores twice as Chelsea defeat AC Milan 3-1 in a pre-season International Champions Cup match in New Jersey.

Oscar has given Chelsea manager Antonio Conte something to ponder after scoring twice in the team's 3-1 win over AC Milan in their pre-season International Champions Cup match in Minneapolis on Wednesday night.

The Brazilian converted from the penalty spot in the second half and added another goal to his tally with a strike 17 minutes later.

Bertrand Traore opened the scoring for the Blues 25 minutes into the match, while Giacomo Bonaventura scored Milan's solitary goal at the US Bank Stadium.

Diego Costa, who has been linked with a return to Atletico Madrid, made his first appearance since Chelsea touched down in the US, while N'Golo Kante made his debut in the second half.

Chelsea were the better opponents on the night, and even though they looked jaded, the Blues went ahead thanks to Traore, who connected with the ball after goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma palmed away an attempt from Victor Moses.

With six minutes left to go until the half-time whistle, Bonaventura found the back of the net with a curling effort from a free kick, which was given away by Willian.

The Premier League side regained the lead in the 69th minute when Eden Hazard's cross was handled by Andrea Poli in the box.

After the referee pointed to the penalty spot, Oscar stepped up and managed to beat the keeper, but it was not long before he was celebrating a second goal.

The Brazilian got on the end of Juan Cuadrado's pass before sending the ball under the keeper.

Chelsea, who have won two of their three ICC matches, will now return to England to continue preparations for the new season, which gets underway next weekend.
