AC Milan have reportedly decided to make Tiemoue Bakayoko's loan move from Chelsea permanent at the end of this season.
Bakayoko joined Milan on a one-year deal last summer and initially failed to impress at San Siro, with manager Gennaro Gattuso openly critical of his form during his opening months at the club.
However, the France international has since turned things around and has gone on to make 32 appearances for the club across all competitions to help them push for a top-four spot in Serie A.
Tuttosport reports that Milan will take up the option of making the move permanent for a €35m (£29.9m) fee when the transfer window reopens this summer.
The Italian outfit are understood to see Bakayoko as a possible replacement for Franck Kessie, who has been linked with a switch to Arsenal.
Bakayoko spent just one season with Chelsea, making 43 appearances and scoring three goals across all competitions.
