Agent Furio Valcareggi has suggested that Sunderland midfielder Emanuele Giaccherini would jump at the opportunity to join Chelsea in the summer.
After failing to make an impact at the Stadium of Light, Giaccherini spent last season on loan at Bologna and his performances in Serie A earned him a place in Italy's 23-man squad at Euro 2016.
The former Juventus man scored in his nation's opening match with Belgium after being selected by Antonio Conte - who will move to Stamford Bridge in July - and his representative has said that following his current national team coach to West London would be "a dream".
Valcareggi told SportItalia: "Giaccherini is a player who played 80% of the games for a Juventus that had [Paul] Pogba, [Andrea] Pirlo, [Arturo] Vidal and [Claudio] Marchisio in the midfield.
"Conte likes him a lot and Chelsea would be a dream. It's still too early to talk about his future. After the Euros, whoever wants to buy him will not have to pay a high price to Sunderland."
The 31-year-old made just 18 Premier League starts for Sunderland in two seasons before his temporary switch to Bologna.
