Fernando Torres's management company have claimed that they will evaluate the striker's future in the coming months.
The Spaniard's career at Stamford Bridge is in doubt after a disappointing return in front of goal following his £50m move from Liverpool in January 2011.
Italian clubs Juventus and Roma have both been linked with a move for the 28-year-old.
"We'll evaluate his future in the coming months," Bahia Internacional's Antonio Sanz told pagineromaniste.com.
"We know the new American project at Roma and the philosophy of manager Luis Enrique, but if Roma want Fernando, they will have to talk with Chelsea.
"The Italian championship is of a good standard, but there are currently no discussions with Roma or Juventus."
Torres has scored seven goals for the Blues in just over a year.
