Real Madrid defender David Alaba is reportedly pushing for his club to sign Bayern Munich attacker Serge Gnabry during this summer's transfer window.

Gnabry has again been in impressive form for his German club during the 2021-22 campaign, scoring 13 times and registering nine assists in 36 appearances in all competitions.

The 26-year-old's future has been the subject of much speculation in recent weeks, though, with his current deal due to expire in June 2023.

Chelsea are believed to be keen to sign the Germany international in the upcoming market, and according to reports in Germany, Real Madrid are also considering a move.

Alaba, who played alongside Gnabry at Allianz Arena, is said to be pushing for Los Blancos to sign his former teammate during this summer's transfer window.

Gnabry, who is capable of operating in a number of different positions in the final third of the field, has scored 60 goals and registered 39 assists in 162 appearances for Bayern in all competitions. body check tags ::
