Chelsea defender Marcos Alonso has insisted that Eden Hazard and his family "are very well" in London amid suggestions that the Belgian wanted to join Real Madrid in the summer transfer window.
Hazard, who helped Belgium reach the semi-finals of the 2018 World Cup, was strongly linked with a switch to the Bernabeu during the summer in the wake of Cristiano Ronaldo's move to Juventus.
Chelsea are believed to have ultimately priced Hazard out of a move to the Spanish giants, but Alonso has said that the attacker "is very happy" at Stamford Bridge, and 'did not see his teammate at Madrid'.
"I didn't see Hazard at Madrid, he is very happy at Chelsea," Alonso told Marca. "I don't know if there was interest or not but Hazard and his family are very well [in London]."
Hazard has scored 91 times in 304 appearances for Chelsea since a move from Lille in the summer of 2012.
