Chelsea striker Nicolas Anelka has agreed a two-year-deal with Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua.
The 32-year-old, who has been linked with the Asian side in recent months, will join up with the team at the start of the January transfer window after the Blues agreed terms with Shenhua.
A statement from Shenhua read: "Shanghai Shenhua and Chelsea have reached a consensus. The French striker Nicolas Sebastian Anelka will in January, after the winter transfer window opens officially, join Shanghai Shenhua on a two-year contract."
The ex-Bolton Wanderers frontman had a transfer request accepted from the Blues a few weeks ago.
