Aston Villa are reportedly hopeful of completing a last-minute deal for Chelsea striker Tammy Abraham.
Manager Steve Bruce is understood to be keen to add firepower to bolster his side's push for promotion back to the Premier League, and the Birmingham Mail reports that Abraham is one of the players on his wishlist.
The former Swansea City loanee has not been getting game time for Chelsea, despite the departure of Michy Batshuayi.
However, Abraham has insisted that he wants to battle for a place in the first team at Stamford Bridge.
"For me, hopefully it's at Chelsea," Abraham is reported as saying by Goal.com. "I would like to remain in the first team, do the best I can and get a couple of goals to my name as well and see where it goes from there. Hopefully I can lift a trophy at the end of the season.
"My main focus right now is staying at Chelsea and obviously I'm here right now and playing and I couldn't really ask for more. We are a team at Chelsea, there is obviously going to be massive competition, it's never going to be easy and for me, as a young guy."
The 20-year-old has made just two first-team appearances for the Blues since 2016, having been sent out on loan to Bristol City and Swansea.
