Atletico Madrid could reportedly move for Chelsea centre-forward Romelu Lukaku during this summer's transfer window.
The 28-year-old has scored 11 times and registered two assists in 33 appearances for the Blues since returning to the club from Inter Milan last summer.
Lukaku has struggled to settle back in London, though, said in an interview with Italian media at the end of last year that he was already looking to secure a return to Inter as soon as possible.
The Italian champions are believed to be considering a move for the Belgium international this summer amid Chelsea's off-the-field issues, which could lead to them selling some of their high earners.
However, according to Fichajes, there is also firm interest from Atletico, with the Spanish champions preparing for the possible departures of Luis Suarez and Joao Felix this summer.
The report claims that Diego Simeone's side view Lukaku as a genuine target despite accepting that it will be difficult to bring the centre-forward to Wanda Metropolitano.
The former Anderlecht youngster again started on the bench against Lille in the Champions League on Wednesday, only playing the final 16 minutes of his side's last-16 second leg in France.
