Barcelona have moved to the front of the queue to sign in-demand striker Luka Jovic from Eintracht Frankfurt, according to a report.
The 21-year-old has scored 19 goals in 29 appearances this season to earn links with a move to Chelsea, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid.
Frankfurt have the option to sign Jovic from Benfica in a permanent £5.3m deal at the end of the season, and they then reportedly plan on making him available to purchase.
Goal.com claims that the German side are after £52m for the Serbia international, though Barca are hoping to strike a deal for a price in the region of £31m, which would still be a huge profit for Frankfurt.
Barcelona are on the lookout for attacking options ahead of the summer transfer window to replace Luis Suarez, while Chelsea, Bayern and Madrid have also been tipped to bring in a new striker.
Jovic has scored a total of 22 goals in 42 Bundesliga appearances for Frankfurt.
