Chelsea have reportedly decided to rival a number of European football's top club in the race to sign Luka Jovic.
The Serbian has emerged as one of the most sought-after forwards in Europe, with the Benfica man contributing 14 goals and three assists in 19 league outings on loan at Eintracht Frankfurt.
The German club are expected to exercise their option to sign Jovic in the summer, but that will not stop a bidding war taking place for the 21-year-old.
According to Metro, Chelsea have opted to try to win the chase for Jovic by lodging an approach worth in the region of £39m.
Liverpool and Barcelona have also been heavily linked with Jovic, while Paris Saint-Germain may emerge as an option for the player.
