Barcelona have reportedly been priced out of a potential summer move for Juventus centre-back Matthijs de Ligt.

The 22-year-old has been a first-team regular this season, helping the Italian giants keep 15 clean sheets in 36 games across all competitions.

Although De Ligt remains part of Massimiliano Allegri's plans, the Dutchman's long-term future at Juve is believed to be uncertain as he is thought to be open to a summer exit.

Barcelona are understood to have registered their interest in De Ligt, but Fichajes reports that a potential move to Camp Nou is unlikely as Juve value the defender in excess of €100m (£83.3m).

With Barca still managing their financial concerns, the Catalan giants are set to prioritise other targets this summer, including Erling Braut Haaland who, along with De Ligt, is represented by Mino Raiola.

The former Ajax centre-back, who has also been linked with a move to Chelsea, is under contract in Turin until June 2024.
