Barcelona have reportedly 'accelerated' their efforts to secure the signature of Chelsea defender Andreas Christensen.
Having failed to pen fresh terms at Stamford Bridge, the centre-back is free to talk to foreign clubs ahead of a potential transfer in the summer.
When quizzed on the matter in press conferences, Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has acknowledged that he is keen for the Denmark international to commit his future to the Blues as soon as possible.
However, according to reports in Spain, Barcelona are doing everything that they can to finalise a pre-contract agreement with Christensen over the coming days and weeks.
The report suggests that Barcelona are prepared to hand Christensen a four-year contract, the same that he has been offered by his current club.
Christensen has made a total of 16 starts and three substitute appearances in all competitions this season, remaining as a key figure in Tuchel's plans.
