Chelsea are reportedly having trouble offloading Michy Batshuayi due to the striker's wage demands.
Batshuayi is currently on loan at Valencia, but the Spanish outfit are understood to want to cut that deal short having seen the Belgian score just three goals in 23 appearances.
A number of clubs have been linked with a move for Batshuayi on deadline day, including West Ham United, Everton and Real Betis.
Everton would only be able to sign Batshuayi on a permanent basis due to their existing loan agreement with Chelsea for Kurt Zouma, and have subsequently ruled out a move after being quoted £35m.
However, Sky Sports News reports that West Ham and Betis have been put off by the player's own demands, with the 25-year-old rumoured to be asking for £160,000 per week despite his indifferent form this season.
Deals had been agreed in principle with West Ham and Betis earlier in the day, including a £2m loan fee, but both clubs now look likely to miss out due to a disagreement over personal terms.
West Ham's need for a striker has subsided somewhat with Marko Arnautovic signing a new deal, while his foot injury is not as serious as first feared.
