Chelsea have agreed a fee in the region of £20m for Bayer Leverkusen striker Andre Schurrle, according to the German club's general manager.
Schurrle is currently on international duty with Germany, but he is expected to fly back via London to finalise the deal, which will see Chelsea winger Kevin de Bruyne move in the other direction on a season-long loan deal.
General manager Wolfgang Holzhauser told the Rheinische Post: "We have reached an agreement with Chelsea.
"They are going to buy Andre Schurrle for a specific fee and, in return, they will loan De Bruyne to us for a year for free.
"I expect Chelsea to stand by what has been agreed."
The 22-year-old has scored 23 goals in 83 appearances for Leverkusen.
