Pedro has said that he is 'hopeful' of securing a return to Barcelona at the end of the season.
The 32-year-old will see his contract with Chelsea expire next June, and it seems unlikely that the attacker will be penning a fresh deal at Stamford Bridge, having struggled for minutes this term.
Pedro scored 99 times in 321 appearances for Barca before moving to Chelsea in the summer of 2015, and the Spaniard has revealed that he is desperate to return to Camp Nou ahead of the 2020-21 campaign.
"Everyone knows what I feel for the club and it's evident that it's a possibility to go back," Pedro told Cadena Ser Catalunya. "I've always said it.
"It's a club I have special love for because I support them. I've had so many experiences there and was there so many years, I feel loved by the fans. It's an option that's always there and that I hope could happen."
Pedro has managed 42 goals in 192 outings for Chelsea in all competitions, but the winger has struggled for regular action this season, netting just once in nine outings for Frank Lampard's side.
