Chelsea are considering a bid for Napoli striker Edinson Cavani.
The Premier League side are thought to have contacted the Uruguayan's agent over a possible January move, according to talkSPORT.
Manchester City are also thought to be interested in the 24-year-old after he scored three goals against them in this season's Champions League group stages.
The Serie A side would reportedly want around £50m for the forward.
