Chelsea manager Frank Lampard will reportedly be provided with a £150m transfer budget for the summer transfer window.
Despite Lampard being keen to strengthen his squad last month, the Blues went throughout January without making a first-team addition.
The lack of activity is said to have frustrated the Englishman, who had previously suggested that he wanted to bring in a new frontman.
However, the Evening Standard claims that Lampard will be given substantial funds ahead of the start of new season.
With Pedro and Olivier Giroud both likely to be out of contract, the West Londoners will need to move for replacements.
Lyon's Moussa Dembele and Napoli's Dries Mertens have both been linked with a switch to Stamford Bridge.
