Chelsea lead the way in the race to sign Dutch teenager Sam Lautenschutz from Eerste Divisie club FC Volendam, according to a report.
The 15-year-old is also rumoured to have attracted interest from the Blues' Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur, while Manchester City and Eredivisie giants Ajax have also been linked.
Volendam are weighing up whether to cash in on Lautenschutz in the coming months, with The Sun suggesting that Chelsea are in pole position for his signature, despite their reluctance to give young players a chance.
Leicester City and League One side Charlton Athletic are also weighing up offers, it is claimed, potentially sparking a bidding war for the midfield ace.
Chelsea currently have 40 players put on loan, many of whom are young talents.
