Real Madrid centre-back Eder Militao is reportedly keen to sign a new contract at Bernabeu despite strong interest from the Premier League in the shape of Chelsea.
The Brazil international has been a key player for Los Blancos during the 2021-22 campaign, making 34 appearances in all competitions, contributing two goals and two assists in the process.
Militao still has more than three years left to run on his contract at Bernabeu, but there has been a host of speculation surrounding his future, with Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel said to be keen to bring him to Stamford Bridge this summer.
According to Marca, despite being aware of the interest from the English capital, the 24-year-old wants to pen a new contract with Carlo Ancelotti's side.
The report claims that Real Madrid are also keen to sign the South American to a fresh deal, and 'minor conversations have taken place' over an extension.
Militar has scored four times and registered three assists in 75 appearances for Los Blancos since making the move from Porto in July 2019.
