Chelsea have confirmed that Todd Kane has been allowed to join Hull City, but only on a loan deal.
On Monday, a report suggested that Kane would make the permanent switch to Hull after failing to make a senior appearance for the Blues.
However, despite Kane now reaching the age of 24, Chelsea have revealed that the full-back will only spend the next campaign at the KCOM Stadium.
The Englishman will be spending his ninth loan period away from the West Londoners, with his most recent spell coming at Oxford United during the second half of last season.
Kane has previously made 49 outings at the second tier of English football, while a further 42 matches have come in the Dutch top flight.
