Chelsea and Real Madrid may reportedly make an approach for Lazio midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic during the next transfer window.
During his five-year spell at Stadio Olimpico, the Serbia international has established himself as one of the best midfielders in Europe, resulting in speculation regarding a switch to Manchester United.
However, while the Red Devils are now well stocked for options in central midfield, it appears that the 25-year-old will still receive offers this summer.
According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Chelsea and Real are monitoring the situation ahead of possibly making a formal bid.
While Chelsea have funds available from the sale of Eden Hazard, Los Blancos would likely have to make a number of sales if they are to step up their interest in the player.
Milinkovic-Savic, who could cost in the region of £80m, has four years left on his contract.
