Chelsea have reportedly made a 'firm offer' for Dinamo Zagreb attacker Dani Olmo.
The 21-year-old, who scored on his Spain debut in November, has netted eight times and contributed seven assists in 22 appearances for Dinamo during the 2019-20 campaign.
Barcelona are believed to have made an official bid for the attacker as they look to re-sign a player who turned out for the Spanish giants between 2007 and 2014 before seeking pastures new.
However, according to Sport, Chelsea have now approached Dinamo with an offer for Olmo, who has managed 34 goals and 28 assists in 124 appearances for his Croatian side in all competitions.
The Blues are expected to be active in the January transfer window having seen their FIFA-imposed suspension, which was due to run until this summer, overturned on appeal.
Frank Lampard's side have also been linked with Lyon forward Moussa Dembele, although the capital giants are believed to have failed with an opening offer for the former Fulham youngster.
