Chelsea are reportedly not interested in signing Manchester City forward Sergio Aguero, as they remain keen on alternative targets including Erling Braut Haaland instead.
Aguero announced this week that he would leave Manchester City on a free transfer at the end of the season, after only registering 14 appearances in an injury and COVID-19-ridden year.
The Argentina international has established himself as a proven forward in the Premier League since joining from Atletico Madrid in 2011, becoming the highest-scoring overseas player in the Premier League's history, registering 257 goals in 384 appearances.
Despite Chelsea being keen on bringing in a striker for the start of next season, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano reports that the Blues are not currently looking to sign the 32-year-old.
It is suggested that Thomas Tuchel's side are planning to prepare for another high-spending transfer window, with them being part of a list of a number of clubs attempting to sign Borussia Dortmund forward Haaland.
The German manager has had a successful start to his spell at Chelsea, who are currently fourth in the Premier League and through to the quarter-finals of the Champions League against Porto.
