Chelsea have reportedly been offered the opportunity to sign Real Madrid winger Eden Hazard, just two years after he departed Stamford Bridge for the Bernabeu.
After a hugely-successful seven-year stint in West London, Hazard was allowed to leave the Blues for a fee in the region of £89m.
However, a succession of injuries have prevented the Belgium international from having an impact in Spain, leaving his future at Real up in the air.
According to AS, 'intermediaries' have informed Chelsea that they are free to negotiate a potential reunion with their former star man.
Nevertheless, the report claims that a transfer is unlikely to be agreed, particularly with Chelsea still being owed money by Real from the deal that was finalised in 2019.
The European champions also intend to allocate a large chunk of the summer transfer funds to signing Borussia Dortmund forward Erling Braut Haaland. body check tags ::
