Chelsea have reportedly submitted a £15m offer for Barcelona forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
The Blues are looking to strengthen in their final third before the transfer window closes, and they have identified Aubameyang as a potential target.
Barcelona are believed to be open to selling the forward as they look to reduce their wage bill, while Aubayemang is reportedly open to a move to Stamford Bridge after falling down the pecking order following the arrival of Robert Lewandowski at Camp Nou.
According to Daily Mail, Chelsea have made an offer of £15m for the Gabon international, although Barcelona are said to be asking for a fee in the region of £21m.
Although the two clubs still need to agree on a fee, Chelsea are confident that a deal can be completed following positive talks over the last 48 hours.
Thomas Tuchel is keen to reunite with a player that he once managed at Borussia Dortmund, and the signing of Aubameyang would add to his striking options following the departures of Romelu Lukaku and Timo Werner this summer. body check tags ::
