Chelsea's talks with Andreas Christensen over a new contract have hit a brick wall, according to a report.
The Denmark international has established himself as a key member of Thomas Tuchel's backline over the past year and has already made 10 appearances in all competitions this term.
However, Christensen's Chelsea deal is currently due to expire in 2022 and the Blues are determined to agree fresh terms with the defender in the coming weeks.
The Blues are reportedly growing more concerned about the situation, though, with Goal claiming that talks have stalled following two months of radio silence from both sides.
The report adds that Chelsea's last offer of an extension for Christensen did come with a 'significant' pay rise, but he would still be one of the lowest earners at the club.
Christensen has featured 137 times for Chelsea since rising through the youth ranks, winning the Champions League, Europa League and FA Cup in that time.
