Chelsea striker Lucas Piazon is reportedly in Italy to seal a loan move to Serie A basement side Chievo.
The 25-year-old has been at Stamford Bridge since 2011 but is one of the Blues' large contingent of players who are regularly sent out on loan and consequently he has made just one competitive appearance for the club in eight years.
Most recently the Brazilian was loaned to Fulham for two seasons running but the London side opted not to re-sign him this season following their promotion to the Premier League.
According to Sky Italia, Piazon travelled to Italy yesterday and will undergo a medical with Chievo this morning before signing for the side on loan for the remainder of the campaign.
Chievo remain in deep trouble at the bottom of the Serie A, having been docked three points by the league earlier this campaign for false accounting.
The club have completed just one piece of transfer business so far this month, bringing in Saint-Etienne midfielder Assane Diousse on a loan deal earlier this week.
