Chelsea have allegedly identified Paris Saint-Germain left-back Layvin Kurzawa as a potential alternative to Leicester City's Ben Chilwell.
The Blues have been strongly tipped to move for Chilwell amid uncertainty surrounding the futures of Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri, but the Englishman's reported £80m price tag could force Frank Lampard's side to seek out other options.
Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester City are also being credited with an interest in Chilwell ahead of what is likely to be a financially-restricted transfer window.
According to SoccerLink, Chelsea have turned their attention to PSG's Kurzawa, who has played second fiddle to Juan Bernat for the majority of the 2019-20 campaign.
With the 27-year-old's deal in the French capital set to expire at the end of the month, Kurzawa would represent a cut-price option for Lampard's side amid financial implications arising from the coronavirus pandemic.
Chelsea allegedly remain interested in a deal for Porto's Alex Telles, but the West London outfit will supposedly face stiff competition from City for the Brazilian's signature.
The Blues have already been heavily active in the transfer market and are prepared to welcome Hakim Ziyech and Timo Werner to Stamford Bridge ahead of next season.
