Chelsea reportedly have no plans to make an immediate decision on the future of defender Kurt Zouma.
The France international has not made an appearance for the Blues since 2017, instead featuring regularly during loan spells at Stoke City and Everton.
However, Chelsea's two-window transfer ban means that the 24-year-old may be used as the club's fourth centre-back alongside Antonio Rudiger, David Luiz and Andreas Christensen.
According to the Daily Star, however, the West Londoners will wait until a new manager is appointed before making a call on whether to cash in on Zouma, who is wanted by Everton.
Frank Lampard is expected to replace Maurizio Sarri, although Chelsea may not deal with the situation until Zouma returns to pre-season training at the beginning of July.
The player, who can also deputise at right-back, still has four years remaining on his contract at Stamford Bridge.
