Cardiff City winger Josh Murphy has reportedly emerged as a possible target for Chelsea.
Murphy has contributed just three goals and one assist from 28 Premier League appearances this season, but the 24-year-old remains one of Cardiff's key men ahead of their return to the Championship.
However, according to Football Insider, Chelsea are considering whether to make a surprise approach for the Englishman during the next transfer window.
The Blues are well stocked for options on the flank ahead of next season, but doubts remain over the futures of Eden Hazard and Callum Hudson-Odoi.
Chelsea must also increase their quota of homegrown players due to a number of English players being expected to leave in the summer.
Cardiff paid in the region of £11m to sign Murphy from Norwich City, and the Bluebirds would demand in excess of that to part ways with the attacker.
