Chelsea will reportedly open talks with Jeremie Boga on Wednesday ahead of a potential return to England.
Boga only made one first-team appearance for Chelsea before leaving for Sassuolo on a permanent deal in 2018 following loan spells at Rennes, Granada and Birmingham City.
The 23-year-old has scored seven times and registered four assists in 22 Serie A appearances this season, which has allegedly attracted the interest of Barcelona.
However, according to The Express, Chelsea, who have first refusal on the Ivory Coast international, will hold talks over a potential £12.7m return to Stamford Bridge at the end of the season.
The report claims that discussions between the two clubs will take place on Wednesday, although Monaco, Everton and Napoli are also believed to be interested in a summer deal.
Boga's current contract with his Italian club will run until the end of the 2021-22 campaign.
