Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi is set to join Bayer Leverkusen on a loan deal.
The 21-year-old has scored 16 goals and provided 22 assists in 126 appearances for Chelsea, but he has found himself out of favour under Thomas Tuchel this term.
Hudson-Odoi was left out of the squad for the season opener against Everton and has been an unused substitute in Chelsea's last three matches.
With playing time proving to be at a premium, the Blues seem to be prepared to allow the wideman to leave the club, with a recent report stating that Leverkusen were leading the race to sign the player.
According to The Sun, the Bundesliga club have reached an agreement with Chelsea to sign Hudson-Odoi on a loan deal for the remainder of the season.
Although Leverkusen wanted to include a buy option in the deal, the Blues have decided to just send Hudson-Odoi out on loan with no purchase clause.
The Englishman is set to fly out to Germany to undergo medical where he will join a side that claimed their first win of the season at the weekend with a 3-0 victory away to Mainz 05. body check tags ::
