Chelsea are reportedly prepared to keep Ashley Cole at the club for the remainder of his career by offering the full-back a new contract.
The 31-year-old, who picked up a Champions League winners' medal last Saturday following the Blues' penalty shootout victory over Bayern Munich, has one year left on his current deal.
It is believed that the London club will hold talks with the defender in the next few weeks and table a substantial £120,000-a-week contract, according to Goal.com.
Reports have claimed that Spanish giants Barcelona are monitoring the situation with Cole, who moved to Stamford Bridge from Arsenal in 2006.
