Tottenham Hotspur player Eric Dier has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Chelsea and Bayern Munich.
Dier - who can play in defence or midfield - was one of the stars of Mauricio Pochettino's team last season but he has fallen behind Victor Wanyama in the pecking order since the Kenyan was signed during the summer.
The England international has recently deputised for Toby Alderweireld in the centre of Spurs' defence, but he has now returned to the substitutes' bench after the Belgian recovered from injury.
According to The Times, both Chelsea and Bayern Munich are monitoring the 22-year-old's situation at White Hart Lane as they consider a potential bid either in January or during the summer.
Due to his versatility, Dier has still made 17 starts for Spurs in all competitions this season.
