Inter Milan are reportedly keen on signing Chelsea's Ruben Loftus-Cheek on a loan deal.

The Italian club have been heavily linked with a move for their former player Romelu Lukaku, who has indicated that he would like to return to Inter.

As well as pursuing a deal for Lukaku, according to the Daily Mail, Inter are also looking to sign the forward's Chelsea teammate Loftus-Cheek.

Chelsea are reportedly looking for a transfer fee of £17m for the midfielder, which would be out of Inter's price range, but the Coppa Italia holders are keen on signing the Englishman on a loan deal.

Although the 26-year-old made 40 appearances for Chelsea in the 2021-22 season, he only started 13 Premier League games, and a move to Italy could present Loftus-Cheek with more playing time.

The Chelsea academy product has already experienced two loan spells away from the club, having spent time at Crystal Palace and Fulham.
