Juventus are reportedly prepared to allow Arthur Melo to join Chelsea this summer in exchange for Jorginho.
While Jorginho is highly regarded at Stamford Bridge and has played a key part in their recent success, the Italy international has just over one more year remaining on his contract.
The 30-year-old has no shortage of admirers in Serie A, particularly at Juventus where he has been strongly linked in recent weeks, and the suggestion is that he is open to a fresh challenge.
According to Fichajes, the Italian giants are willing to send Arthur in the other direction to secure a deal for a player who would take on more first-team responsibility.
That has not been the case with Arthur this campaign, who has made just 12 starts and 13 substitute appearances in Serie A and the Champions League.
The report adds that Juventus will need to work to tempt Chelsea into an agreement, although their hopes may be boosted with the world champions soon being required to lower the average age in the centre of the pitch.
