Leicester City midfielder N'Golo Kante will complete his proposed move to Chelsea as early as this weekend, according to reports.
The 25-year-old is understood to be in high demand this summer following an impressive campaign that saw him help the Foxes to the Premier League title last season.
Kante has a £20m release clause in his contract, but Leicester can still opt to sell him to the highest bidder, meaning that Chelsea have had to increase their offer to £29m.
The Telegraph reports that the two clubs are yet to agree on a fee, but that the player himself has informed Leicester boss Claudio Ranieri that he wants to leave the King Power Stadium.
The France international, who helped his country to the final of Euro 2016 this summer, is expected to sign a five-year deal at Stamford Bridge within the coming days.
Kante would become Antonio Conte's second signing as Chelsea boss following the arrival of Michy Batshuayi.
