Sevilla defender Jules Kounde has reportedly scouted houses in London amid speculation linking him with a move to Chelsea.

Following the departures of Antonio Rudiger and Andreas Christensen, the Blues have been prioritising defensive targets this summer.

They managed to secure the services of Kalidou Koulibaly from Napoli, but Chelsea are still keen to make further additions to their backline.

As well as targeting Paris Saint-Germain defender Presnel Kimpembe, a recent report suggested that the Blues were leading the race to sign Jules Kounde from Sevilla.

According to football.london, Chelsea are edging closer to completing the transfer of the 23-year-old, who has been looking at homes in London.

Despite a move appearing to be close to completion, the Blues could still face competition from Barcelona, who are admirers of the Frenchman.
