Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard will reportedly sit down with the club in the next week to discuss signing a new contract.
The England international, who has been linked with MLS side Los Angeles Galaxy, was originally told that he could leave the club in the summer, but the Premier League outfit are thought to have made a U-turn.
It is understood that Chelsea chief executive Ron Gourlay will open talks with Lampard in the coming days to agree terms of an extension, according to The Express.
Lampard has netted 199 goals for the Blues since joining from West Ham United in 2001.
