Romelu Lukaku has criticised comments made by his agent regarding his future at Chelsea.
In an interview given to an Italian newspaper, Federico Pastorello said that the 29-year-old's situation at Stamford Bridge would need to be "carefully assessed" at the end of the season.
Pastorello's comments were in relation to Lukaku having failed to make the desired impact at Stamford Bridge, suggesting that a transfer elsewhere was a possibility.
However, Lukaku, who has scored three goals in his last two Premier League appearances, has voiced his displeasure at the interview on social media.
In an official statement, Lukaku said: "Never ever will I let someone else speak for me. I kept my mouth shut and focused on helping the team and end the season in the best way possible.
"So if someone out there trying to say something about me and my club. Not in my name."
Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel has acknowledged that Lukaku has put himself in contention for a start in Saturday's FA Cup final with his recent form. body check tags ::
