Everton have completed a deal to bring Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku to the club on a season-long loan deal.
The Belgian forward, who enjoyed a successful spell at West Bromwich Albion last season, had been linked with a move to Goodison Park for most of the final day of the transfer window.
However, at one stage it seemed that the 20-year-old would rejoin West Brom as Jose Mourinho looked to offload one of his strikers.
Everton are believed to have offered a bigger loan fee than the Baggies to make sure that the deal was agreed.
Lukaku has reportedly been eager to secure first-team football to ensure that he secures a spot in the Belgium team ahead of next summer's World Cup.
